Hi! We are Dara and Cara, collegues, buisness partners and best friends. Together we make up We Heart Wellness, a company dedicated to you feeling your best. 

oh hello, its cara, your avocado obsessed friend! i spent the first 2/3 of my life thinking that dieting, restriction and cleansing were going to yield the health and body of my dreams. what it gave me was an eating disorder and an unbalanced relationship with food and myself. i had always been the kind of person who read about nutrition and wellness and thought that i was eating healthy. in reality, i not only had arthritis and migraines but my relationship with food left me emotionally and mentally drained. i always felt crazy around food. something had to give. through self experimentation and going back to school to study clinical nutrition i have found myself in a space of ultimate energy and vibrancy. along the way its been amazing to own my own restaurant, design menus for others, work as a personal chef and most recently as a Holistic Health Coach. i finally have freedom around food and eat whatever the eff i want, i truly love the skin i am in. after putting in the work to get here, i can honestly tell you its worth every ounce of effort and now its easy to maintain. i can't wait to partner with you (and dara) to transform your health and wellbeing. lets do this!

i am dara, nice to meet ya!  ok so about me and how I got here and why I want to work with you on obtaining your health / nutrition goals!  i come from a family who ate like most american families did in the 80’s and 90’s - lots of fast food sprinkled in with mac and cheese, a few home cooked meals then spurts of eating healthy which never lasted for long.  i drank a ton of soda, loved ramen and ate Italian subs almost every day for lunch.  my parents weren’t negligent they just didn’t know.  around 16 / 17 years old i started to notice I was gaining a lot of weight and didn’t feel well often, was getting sick a lot and just figured maybe if I started eating a healthier diet I would feel better.  it was all instinct back then and not to mention being an east coast jew, i figured it would serve me well to start to learn to eat in a way that would prevent me from having diseases down the road that i started to see my parents and grandparents suffer with.  this has been my journey, I have been learning / researching and implementing many different lifestyle / dietary changes throughout the years and combined with years of experience life coaching for achievable goals, have found where these two passions intersect and have come to life.  my emphasis is on preventing future health issues and healing current issues with foods and supplementation when necessary to feel our best and live fully!
